Charles, Jessica, my husband (Jared) and I went to L.W. Higgins High School together so we have known them for a while. In fact, we were both in the running for cutest couple our Senior year... they won (no hard feelings, in fact I'd still vote for them). To this day we still have so much in common, rocking life with our high school sweethearts, raising littles, making our own success stories. Much like our little family, The Belle family loves to spend time together! They're always looking for a new adventure to begin with one another. It's probably one of my favorite things about them. That, and how supportive they are of one another. We started our day in the Garden District of New Orleans and ended it at Creole Creamery with a delicious ice cream treat, where my husband and my daughter Charlie joined. It was a perfect and fun family day catching up with amazing friends in the gorgeous New Orleans area!
AIDEN + MARISSA
Aiden and Marissa have been together for a year. They recently got engaged this June in Amsterdam, then wed in Denmark last week!! Even though this shoot happened before their nuptials; it is clear to see it was coming! Aiden is my baby cousin (okay, so he's not a baby, but to me he will always be that). He's in the Air Force, stationed in Germany where he met Marissa (whose father is also in the military). This session was from the first time he brought Marissa to meet us-aka her super awesome wickedly cool in-laws! I am super excited to welcome her into our family! Gah! You can tell by the way they look at each other its the real deal. I had a blast photographing the woman that puts a smile on my (baby) cousin's face. Best wishes to Aiden and Marissa!
