Aiden and Marissa have been together for a year. They recently got engaged this June in Amsterdam, then wed in Denmark last week!! Even though this shoot happened before their nuptials; it is clear to see it was coming! Aiden is my baby cousin (okay, so he's not a baby, but to me he will always be that). He's in the Air Force, stationed in Germany where he met Marissa (whose father is also in the military). This session was from the first time he brought Marissa to meet us-aka her super awesome wickedly cool in-laws! I am super excited to welcome her into our family! Gah! You can tell by the way they look at each other its the real deal. I had a blast photographing the woman that puts a smile on my (baby) cousin's face. Best wishes to Aiden and Marissa! James + Kayla
I've known Kayla, since high school. She was the bazooka to my bubble gum (literally, thats what we called each other). She may have helped orcastrate my relationship with my high school sweetheart, aka my husband for over a decade! So, when she contacted me to do her wedding I was over the moon! Kayla had been across the country with James while he was in the military. I hadn't seen her in forever, so to get spend her wedding day with her was seriously the best! I got to see just how wonderfully James loved her. It was so fun watching my firecracker of a friend meet her match, but what was even better, was the way he could make her melt. The way he loved her daughter as his own, the way he could make her laugh, James is a great man. I couldn't be more happy for my friend, and I'm totally grateful I got to share that experience with her.
